Tolland Resident Accused Of Smashing Car Window After Doughnuts – Tolland, CT Patch

TOLLAND, CT — A Tolland resident is accused of breaking the window of a car that was doing doughnuts at the end of a road, a state police report indicates.

The incident took place on Feb. 8 at 8:09 p.m., according to a report. Robert Arute confronted the occupants of a Subaru BRZ sports car allegedly performing doughnuts at the end of the Centerbrook Drive cul-de-sac, according to a repot.

He then allegedly threw an “unknown object” at the vehicle, breaking the rear window as the car fled the area, according to a report.

He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.
